Manchester United Join Race for Camavinga

by Tom Romano

Manchester United have entered the race for Eduardo Camavinga and are reportedly preparing a bid worth around €50 million for the Real Madrid midfielder.

The Premier League giants are looking to further strengthen their options in the middle of the park before the transfer window closes, with the France international emerging as a potential late target.

Camavinga joined Real Madrid from Rennes in 2021 for around €40 million and has since become a regular part of Madrid’s first-team setup, winning both La Liga and the Champions League.

One of the 23-year-old’s biggest assets is his versatility. Naturally a central midfielder, Camavinga can operate in a deeper role, provide energy as a box-to-box option and has also filled in at left-back when required.

That flexibility could make him particularly attractive to United, who are looking for greater depth and tactical options in midfield.

Any move, however, would depend on Real Madrid’s willingness to sanction his departure. United’s reported interest could add another twist to the closing stages of the window, with Camavinga representing a significant addition if the Red Devils can pull off the deal.
